    Default Stockton on Fathers Day

I have been pulling a lot of cranks of late but I left them at home this morning to check some beds I put in late winter around high point. First two hours we caught several fish but most of them short then we got on the rite beds and did very well. We had a couple of limits of good solid keepers but nothing bigger than 12. Best beds were on a flat in 13-16ft of water. Jig color didnt really matter but we mostly used a midsouth glow/chart super jig. The wind was a challenge but the fishing was pretty good. Looks like the bed bite is getting ready to take off and I cant wait. We would start each bed with some pitch and drift then when that slowed we moved over them more and get down in amongst em.

Nice going Jason, glad you got on them, catching makes the wind a bit more tolerable, Darrell and I are gonna hit a brush pile or two in the early am, hope the wind leaves us alone for a bit.

x2. glad you had a good one.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
