    Default Berkley Poletop Bite Indicator

Does anyone know much about this indicator. If so what are your thoughts?

Never heard of it till I Googled it. I think using a good float or just watching your line are both better options.

I purchased these for night fishing under the bridges or wherever. As most of my crappie hit on the outside edge of the green light I use my longer rods to reach out there. Whenever I use floats they tend to drift with the wind/current. From what I have seen they are pretty good. You can even move around in the boat a little without setting them off which helps with the kid in the boat. Just checking to see if anyone else had any thoughts. By the way I see you are in Atlanta. Where do you fish most often? I spend 95% of my time on Lanier. I agree that watching the line is the better way to go during the daytime hours. I also would not use them tight lining as they could get wet if you were to get hung up. They have some type of sensor in them so it may be plausible to use them when long lining.
