    Heard they caught some off the marina docks earlier this week at RR.
    Nice size, but very hard to get to bite. Had to use a Vexxy and dang near feed the bait to them.

    GUys were picking up a few before the water got all muddied up from what I was hearing.

    Hey, while we are on the topic, what do you guys think the easiest month to catch crappies from shore is? and what do you like for bait? thanks CoRy

    Generally speaking the middle of May is usually the easiest time of the year to fish from shore.Males will move up and build nest and stay until the fry hatch or they get caught.It all depends on the water temps, but usually by mid May here in central Iowa.
