Thumbs up I did it big today! New boat coming

You guys are going to rib me cause of it, but I just signed my next several years away on a new Ranger. I ordered a 2006 519 with a 200 OptiMax just to fish crappies.

Congrats, skleepe. It's okay we all do it and will do it again for some thing or another. Ya know the old saying, "the only difference in men and boys is the price of their toys."

I hope you have many trouble-free days on the water and slime it up real good with all those crappie you're going to catch.

Well you might as well enjoy it! They say you can't take it with you. Great boat! I've got a 518SVS and love it!

Congrats on the new boat. Now all you need is some crappie slime on it and a full livewell.

Thanks guys. This will be my second Ranger. The first is a 1999 R71 with a 125. Not fast enough. I get a bang with the ol boys in town. They fire up their 25-50hp Lunds and race away from the ramp trying to get to their spot when they see me pulling down with my truck. Even with the 125 I usually got there first. Now I should be able to blow their hats off.:D I just find it better for me to be closer to the water and also be able to walk all over the boat. I normally fish alone and its super easy to load and unload alone. And it SHINES.

Awesome boat. Seems like no matter how good a boat I have I always dream about something else......That's the great part of this sport- always something new to try.
Go fill it up with crappie.

Nice Ride Skleppe. None better than a Ranger, they build em "one at a time!" Did you get it at Ted's in Rock Island?
