    Default Butter Worms

We were given some butter worms a couple of weeks ago. They look like wax worms only a little bigger and have some red in them. Checked the bait shop out and they do cost more money. They do not come off the hook and able to catch several fish with each worm. I am 100% sold on them.

I was fishing in Chicago once and saw a bunch of people fishing with them. Maybe it's a northern thing. I've never seen them for sale anywhere in the south.

Yes I hae used these, only place in northern IL to get is at Henry's bait shop in Chicago, they cost more but do hold up better and can be a good option but minnows will fish just as good most days @ half the cost, for crappies. Gills do really seem toenjoy them.........
