Anniversary Wapp trip

Got up at 4:00 Sunday morning, which was our anniversary, and woke my wife up:

Me: Happy Anniversary, you wanna go fishin (she hasn't been with me since I got the new boat, and she's been kickin the idea)

Her: "Uuugghhh. Happy Adversary." (or something like that) "I do, but I don't."

Me: See ya later. Rofl

I trolled around and caught 24 good eaters (measured one fish), jigs only. I had my rear handed to me Sat. Some old timers came in with a two sacks full. I have to say that it kinda hurt my feelins a little. Redemption came on Sunday, and no I didn't steal the old timers spot, but did use what they told me to adjust. Biggest change was going back to spider rigging vs. single poling. I hated to, but it worked out.

Thanks beagle. We've made it, or I should say SHE'S made it, twenty one years. It's generally been a pretty easy trip for me. She's tougher than I thought she was.

Glad to here you were about to catch a mess of fish. I guess they didnt all get washed over the spillway.
I havent been able to make it down there since the water came up. Hope to get back down soon
