Default Plain or painted when trolling?

Hey trollers. Do you guys see a difference when trolling if you have a pline (unpainted) jig head or do you use painted?

I use both. I mix them up until the fish tell me what they want.

with seemingly equal results. I think the bite, while trolling, is more of a quick reaction bite ... and the fish may not have/take time to really look them over, that much. I use both when casting, too ... and haven't noticed any reluctance, on the part of the fish, to hit either one (and when casting, I retrieve extremely slow, so I know the fish have a very good chance to look over my offering). i use unpainted more than i do painted, and haven't really noticed a difference, casting vertical,or trolling, which i seldom do with jigs here.though i do suspect color may possibly help in stained/dark waters when using contrasting colors on head and body.
