Default June 11th Truman Lake Capital Crappe Club Open Tournament Results

I want to thank everyone that fished our club's tournament, we had a total of 33 boats that entered. I want to thank the sponsers for those out of the money door prizes. We paid the top 7 places and two big fish. We hope to have a bigger one next year, I hope we can break 50 boats and pay 1,000 for first.

Great weights......... congrats to the winners, and all that participated.

TAE73 - do you have any info for the club? We live in Jeff City and would like to learn more about your club. Sounds fun.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish

Bunting's are top notch fishermen. Irwin and Whitaker are one of my favorite tournament teams, great guys!

Ted make sure you spread a couple weeks in between Crappie Masters and your tournament next year, you will get a couple more boats (back to back weekends hurts, still hung-over from the One Pole Tournament…i.e.: money and time away from home).

    Thanks-

Grb22 sent you a PM about the club.

We will try to spread it out next year, this year we wanted this weekend because of it being the one year anniversary passing of Albert Melcher.

I understand spreading it out may help. But a great reason for keeping it on the date that you had it. Great respect for a great guy and fisherman. Lucky enough to pass doing what he loved.

I stand corrected; that is an outstanding reason to have the tournament on that weekend! Albert was an outstanding fisherman, I always enjoyed being around him (he was always happy, catching them or not).
