    Default Fishing LOZ

This is probably a stupid question with the cold weather weve been having,
but has anybody been fishing LOZ the past few days. Was wondering how this
affected the fish. Im headed down there tomorrow for the next few days. Any help would be appreciated.:D

I havent had the boat out in about week but i fished a dock monday and we caught 2 limits with one at 14" a few at 12" the rest were just keepers. We were fishing the main channel and the fish were 12 to 15',i think you will do good if you fish docks or brush in the 15' range.

I was down all last week and I was fishing mostly off the dock which has about 5-6 feet of water under it. It was hit or miss but everything I caught was at least 11 inches with a few 13 inchers and one 14 incher. Fishing was better at the start of the week when it was warmer but that is understandable since we have minimal water under the dock at this time of the year. I am going to head back down in a few weeks. I hope it warms up a bit.

    Default Loz

I saw 3 nice limits come out of the gravios area this week. Water there is in real good shape. Fish were 10 -20 ft. deep on points. White and Chart. seemed to be the color of choice.

Well fished LOZ yesterday and today. Have to say yesterday was much better but not great caught 12 keepers. Today only caught 7 they seemed
to be tight lipped. Cant really complain though because all the fish have been real nice keepers no reason to even get the crappie measurer out.
The ones that Ive cleaned the eggs are really soft and real bloody. Just a little warm weather for a period and they are gonna start to move up!

Limited out Sunday in about 3 hours. All fish were females and the eggs were bloody. The 15 I caught weighed just a hair over 13lbs. Water temp was between 48 and 50. If we get a few days of warm weather It should be really good.......

My brother and I caught close to 60 small fish and both of our limits did not catch all big fish as the other had stated. We only had 15 fish at or over a pound.
