leaving sunset marine (potters lake)

Going out early in the morning leaving the marine. This is my first time out this fall so any help would be great. I usally fish the pool off of ben buttedr worth park way

Hey King, go to the back waters off of Concord St by Credit Island on the Iowa side. Work about a cast's distance out from that bank. You will see, and/or find a bunch of brush piles that I, and others have put in. The Crappie will be up in there until ice up.

Wow are they ever stacked up in there, got a few real nice ones one about a pound and the others were good frying size... Let me know when your going out agin might have to meet ya out on the muddy river, to show ya a few of my spots..
