them fish will do what them fish will do. seems like every year a new area gets the crazys on fishing, this year seems like more areas than normal, sounds like a fun day with the family.
Fish still spawning there, caught a lot of shorts today but still had a bunch of good-uns.Fish were back in the pockets or very back of the coves, 1ft to 5ft deep. The more trash the better the fishing was.Don't think I have ever seen fish spawn this late, may be that the water that they are dumping out of Pomme is cooler than the rest of the lake.Friday the temp was 62 and today was 65.Grandkids jumped in but did'nt stay in very long.Made me cold just watching them.

Glad you got into a few.
X2!!
Do you think they would be doing the same thing at Fairfield? Thinking about going tomorrow.
Could be,it's not that far down to Fairfield .I have done real good to the left of the boat ramp b-4 when the water was up so good luck to ya and let us know how you done.
Crappiedave, spot on with your report. Just wanted to say thanks for the info. We caught our limits this morning in about an hour and a half. A lot of females with eggs still never seen anything like it. June 1st.

Pomme arm of Truman below Pomme De Terre Lake Dam. Correct me if I am wrong.
Avery has no real ramp just roads that go into the water. Kinda hard to explain how to get there. Maybe crappiedave would be better at that. I take 65 north little past cross timbers. Take a left on a gravel road that takes you down to the lake. Try Google maps you should be able to trace the road down to the lake. Sorry
