It wasnt the boat that was catchin the big fish it was the best tournament team in the business...CAPPS AND COLEMAN.
We caught these fish during a tourney and it didn't help one bit. We weighed it but our biggest 7 were way off the winners biggest 7...But oh well, when you have a 17 foot boat up against a 35 foot fiberglass GIANT filled with lead and water and anything and everything else to weigh it down...Oh well any way we had a good time and got to fish. The conditions couldn't have been worse...WIND and WAVES for most of the day.

Definitely tough fishing this weekend and with the cold front moving through and lingering in the area this week I expect the fishing to be off a bit until it warms up some again. Still, I can't wait to get back on the lake and give it a try.
I think that equipment does make a difference but not as much as experience, knowledge of the fish (with a little good luck mixed in), and smart thinking on the water.:D
Happy Fishing
Sac-a-lait nice catch. Couple off those got hugh bellies. At least you'll eat good.

Thats good fishing to catch all of those this weekend with a single pole. conditions were bad.
Now that is a big boat. I bet they could hire it out when not fishing for a barge. LOL
Nice fish you have here.
