This may not be the right spot, but I'm asking anyway.
Another site I'm on is organizing a effort for Joplin.....they are waiting a few days to let all the first responders do their work and stay out of the way...but they want to help out the helpers.Set up a tent and provide some food and a break from all the hard work they face.
Since I'm in the food industry,I'm working the phone trying to get some donations for stuff like ice,water,dogs,burgers,etc....
I think someone posted they could get damaged bags of charcoal for last weeks campout..that would help.
I'm in the NKC/Smithville area and off tue.....anyone wanting to try and help would be appreciated...they leave at the crack of dawn thur. so not much time to get it together.
I can't make any promises, but will do what I can to help.
Kudos to the boys at the Cafe.Hands ClappingThumbs UpHands ClappingThumbs UpHands Clapping

Jon, talk to Bill (keeferfish). Thanks for what you're doing. I'm sure it's appreciated.
Love to help, PM sent with my number
bump ... if anyone is looking for a way to help those effected in Joplin.
The red Cross is expecting us to feed 1200 folks a day. Anything ya'll can do to help the cause is greatly appreciated. We will need more burgers, brats, hotdogs, buns, chips, etc. Money can always be used as we plan to aquire additional goods while down there. I believe we'll be set up on 3rd street at the fire station. I know this is short notice, but anything you can do will help. Follow the above links if you can help in any way. I'll be heading down early Friday morning. Thanks.
let us know where you are going to be for sure may round up some cdc help for ya. I don't live too far from Joplin, about 25 miles, and would be glad to lend a hand in anyway I can, and will see about getting some other guys to help also.
