I thought of your flag when I took this first picture. I visited some old pals here Friday. Very emotional visit for me and Brenda.

Tom ... while I did not serve in Viet Nam, I did serve alongside of many that had. I lost two High School friends in Nam. My three fishing buddies are Nam Vets ... a US Army Radioman, a Marine MP, & a SeaBee. My Father served in WWII on a Navy Destroyer, & my step-father was a tank mechanic with Patton.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to those that have served, and are serving, to protect this great Nation & its freedoms.

There are 44 names on the wall from Assault Helicopter Co I served with and also a lot of pilots I went thru flight school with.
Thank you very much for the pictures.

For all of us who served in Nam, the healing goes on. I have a picture of the" Wall " hanging in "My Room" to remind me of all who died and to make sure I never forget how lucky I am to be alive. Thanks for the info and pictures and as always, never forget the sacrifices of all who served...Hands Clapping

It took me 3 visits to the Wall before I could make it all the way down the walkway to the actual wall. First time I couldnt even make it to the statue before breaking down. Last time I went, I took my wife and she had same reaction at the Nurses statue.
