    Here is a 11 inch female and a 14 inch female. Both with eggs. I caught several males too.

    What's going on with the eyes on those crappie, do you club them before you fillet them?

    I caught some crappie the other day at Tobesofkee with eggs still in them.
    A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!

    Just curious why you cut them at such a sharp angle? I fillet mine almost straight down under the fin.

    I cut straight down as well, but his method looks to give the same final fillet with less mess from the eggs, stomach, and such. I think I'll give the sharper angle a try.
