    Default Not crappie fishing!

I know it's not crappie fishing. But check out my little story about salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, on the home page.

It's kinda interesting how they fish with all that gear. Quite a production.

Great write up! I, too, have chartered on the lake. You're not kidding about the different rigs and set ups! This is one place where it surely pays to have someone take you. It's just not feasible for most of us to spend thousands of dollars on gear to go catch em once or twice a year.

That is an excellent writeup and video there. Those are crappie fishermen wanna be people. My wife will not go out in the fog...even to read a book while I fish. She goes with me on sunny days. I Loved the story. You have quite a talent for writing Slab.

Me, I am two thumbs (Except for tying flies and playing chess) Never could get the ripple effect on my photos and now I have stretched ligaments in a knee and will be hobbling for three-four weeks. Will see an orthopedic specialist Tuesday. No fishing for me for a little while!!!!

    Thank you for sharing this.

BOAT = Bring Out Another Thousand!!!

I do a lot of tributary fishing in the fall/winter/early spring but have only been out on Lake Ontario itself a handful of times. Unless you're running your boat at the very least weekly, you aren't getting your $$$ worth. dock slips, gas, winter storage and of course you always NEED to replace something... Guess I just agree 100% with your premise to hire a charter.
