    Which res. would be better for someone unfamiliar with both?Does one seem to hold larger numbers of bigger fish? thanks for any input.

    Ohio, I must say Mississinewa for the big ones... Please if you get a chance try the Salamonie there is some big ones in there also I like to see some fishermen harvest the small ones to the fact of this area has way to many... Good luck this year... Hope to see you on the water...

    Depends on the water level at tournament time. Low water Miss. Rising water Sal, normal and stable for two or more days go to Huntington. Miss,used to hold bigger fish but Sal.has came on very strong. Water levels will be the biggest factor this year do to early date.

    I'm going to make you happy fish detective. I'm taking a few newbies fishing at salamonie in a few weeks and we are going to keep and eat 40-50 if we can get them.

    fished mississinewa Saturday.Water is big time muddy.Couldnt see your jig two inches down.Did manage 1 crappie,1 bluegill,and 1 yellowbelly.The wind was blowing and it was cold.Fished liston and goose.Water just to muddy.Glad to find out the boat ran fine.Ready to go as soon as the weather breaks.
