Default Red Ear fishing Kentucky Lake with Sixfin

Harrison and I had the opportunity to fish with Sixfin and his son Joel for Red Ears today on Kentucky Lake. Should have figured the weather would be less than perfect, seems like thats been the norm all spring. Despite the wind, rain and cold we managed to catch em, thanks to Sixfin! Here's a pic of the boys with today's catch. Name: P1011605.jpg

I asked the same question... The reply was "in the mouth!"

As yall know, I have had sixfin & Badbrad under surveillance for some time now. Here are some photos from my Spy Sat.

Unfortunantly yesterday's cloud cover and a series of Solar Flares, kept me from finding out the exact location.

Good looking mess, I'm very jealous! I've been trying to get down there now for two years, living up here in the Louisville area it's a long drive. Those would make the drive home seem like a piece of cake. Looks like you've got some monsters.

In a word, "jealous". I too live in louisville and would love for the lake to be a little closer to home for some of that red ear action. Congrats.

That's some great looking fish, sometimes the sarcasm is worth it isn't it Brad! Sixfin must have paid his divers good this time.

Big Willie, we did catch quite a few gills.....some pretty good sized, but really were targeting the red ears in deeper water. Those fishing shallow for Gills were catching a lot of numbers.
