Anyone have ideas on what kind of jigs they use for bluegill and crappie?
Sweet. Nothing like a few new toys.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Nice!! And check out the stickies on the main forum and bream forum for favorite baits for bream and crappie, lots of good advise there. Also read through the state forums and pick out what and how people are using.
check out crankbaits 101 on Mississippi's forum and you will spend spend spend,,lol,,I did..and it works like a charm.

crappie:
IMHO you can start out with 1/24oz jigs. I like feathered types. Red head/white feather or vice/versa. I catch just as many without a minnow as with.
gills:
IMHO Cubby makes a environment safe (bismuth instead lead) jig. I like the 1/32oz green head/black tail. I don't use bait. In my lake, this is the go-to jig
Tennessee...........Tennessee.......they ain't no place I'd rather be...........
I see you have your spinning reels set up for right hand retrieve. That's how I have mine set up, too. It just feels more natural and comfortable that way.
I just got s 5' ultra light Ugly Stik and an Okuma AV20a spinning reel myself. I plan to spool it up today and take my daughter to the lake tomorrow.
I love HIM because HE first loved me.
