Default Shallow Pond, Crappie aren't biting

the other day, i seined my pond and caught about 30 crappie each time and 20 bullhead each time. i know i should be worried about the bullhead but im not. what im worried about is how shallow this pond is. it is 1 1/2 feet at the deepest. and somewhat murky so what do i do? throw a jig with some crappie nibbles and a bobber keeping it at about 6 inches deep? please help

chatuse and silver flake is a color in soft plastics. for your situation, i would not suggest a bobber rig. try a sinker rig.
    lindy walking sinker (3/4 oz)
    #8 amberdeen hook
    4-6 pound test flurocarbon
tie the hook on first with a palomar knot, or for extra action, a loop knot. then, tie on a lindy walking sinker (right about now you can find these for a dollar at walmart supercenters)
last, tie on a swivel, or loop knot and tip the hook with tube plastic, or minnow, and find cover where crappie should be. the rig allows you to literally feel every bite, good for those times when see the bite is not a option.
and, it is impossible to snag.

it is 1 and a half feet deep. we have had 0 rain for like 2 months here. but if i sink it, the bullhead will always bite. they bite anything

and the problem with sinkers are they rub on the ground and i can't tell if it is a bite or just the ground.

a bite is going to feel different than a rock. usally it will be a thump or tick. using the rig will land more fish because the position of the hook is going to set the shank on the top of the mouth, where the lip is tougher. you also will have more time to set the hook. my hand-eye coo-ordination is ****e, so i just use a sinker rig for em.
just try it outand see if you can get more fish or not.

and with a pond that shallow, a bobber will scare the fish away more than catch them.
im going to take a wild guess and say that you use a bobber, sinker and hook rig with minnows?

caught 6 crappie today, using a tube lure with crappie nibbles and a bobber. only took me 20 minutes!! i think it has just been too hot recently and it cooled down today.
