Congrats on a good weekend
Fished the Niangua arm Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. It was still real muddy but the fish didn't care. Water temps were in the mid 60's by every afternoon. Three of us kept 85 with nothing under ten inches. A second wave of spawners deffinately moved in as we didn't catch a fish deeper that maybe 4 ft with several in less than a foot. The backside of any dock with brush or rockpiles had fish but the midpoint of each cove seemed to hold the most. Sunday the bite did get a little tougher. Not sure if the fish were already finishing up and moving back out or if just the bright sun/little wind locked them up a little.
Congrats on a good weekend
x2 on that........ glad you got down there and found a bunch. should be some good eating. Congrats!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
One of my relatives owned a resort called Shorecrest Resort quite a few years back. Sold all the units to individuals, the reason I ask is it sat by a point just like the one behind your picture. Maybe two miles up from Bridal cave.
We were down closer to the mouth of the Niangua at Skyline Resort. Just a bit up from the HW 5 bridge.
