Nephew come in from seattle, and had quite a expensive week on truman, caught a lot of nice crappie but paying the price,
Bent prop shaft....... $800
2 trailer spindles...... $140
broke rod tip... loomis $50 repair
thinking man you best not get on a plane today....
calls at the last minute, lost his key to the lock on his receiver hitch, so comes by and we have to take a pencil grind and cut it off..... said again with your luck this week, I would stay off a plane and hitch hike back to seattle..... gotta like it when ones passion surpasses his pocket book..........:D caught a lot of big spawned out females 8' down......any color......
A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE

I think it's the "nephew" thing, I seem to incur excess costs when I take them fishing and not even in a boat

Ouch! That hurts just readin about it. Glad he caught some fish though.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
Man sorry bout the bad luck
But at least y'all caught some crappy's
Fun and games until a shaft gets bent!! LOL Sorry about your bad luck!! At least you'll enjoy eating those fish!
Dang Monty, sounds like my week. Had to get new tires for truck and boat-$1000. Then my daughter,s car broke down on Interstate coming home from school for summer-$400 tow bill, dont know about repairs yet. Now the trolling motor, I hope it slows down.
