1st Trip To Ky Lake

HI ALL, planning to go to ky lake next weekend.hoping to get some good info on what part of the lake to fish and lodging info. probably will go western ky parkway.i here jonathan creek and blood river are pretty good spots.never fished ky before,any info will be great.

Jonathon is great as are the bays on the east side. Get a map before you go, and remember they don't start letting the lake fill until April, so the lake will be shy of what the map says. It is a big lake and everything looks the same from the main lake. I have been stopped many times by people asking where they were down there.

You are right to fish Jonathan and Blood River right now. They have been catching a lot of fish from both. Check out Kylake.com and go to the forums. These two bays have been mentioned a lot. Barkley is good as well but muddy at last check back in the major bays. Good luck.
