    Default Trollimg Motor Dilema

Bee talking to Kaz alittle already on my problem so here goes. Got to Smithville yesterday, got up too late to go to Truman, got to 1st spot and no trolling motor. Looked around for awhile and came home. Plugged in charger, later on batteries show charged, still nothing. Took voltmeter and checked both batteries-13+ on each one. Took voltmeter and checked 4 prong plug at front of boat. same thing-13+ volts. Any suggestion on what to do next or where to take it or does anyone living close to Blue Sprinhs want to take a look at it. The trolling motor worked perfect last weekend at crappie camp. Any help would be appreciated, thanks....Dex.

Broken wire or a switch not making connection maybe. Work all switches repeatedly and see it you get power. Just my guess as if it worked last week that's about all that "should" break while sitting,,,,,,good luck.

Flip yer foot controller over and use your voltmeter to see if you have juice to the wires that connect to the foot switch. Could be corrosion in the pigtail plug.

I'm thinking a pedal connection also flip that pedal and check all the connections and test with your volt meter.

Bypass the intermittent switch and see if she runs. Those switches go bad. I keep a spare in my boat for mine.

Well took the bottom cover off of the foot pedal, lots of wires. Hooked the volt meter up to everyone of 'em and couldnt make heads nor tails out of it. Anyone know anyone that is not Cabelas or Bass Pro?
