Smithville Holiday – Banks Closed????

Must have been some kind of bank holiday that started at 5pm tonight cause banks in Smithville were closed! Rock Creek Bank Closed, River - Twin Coves branch Closed, Lynn and Roberts branches both closed! I had to make my withdrawal well under the banks. 6 to 8 foot deep tight line. Cleaned about a dozen and only two females Thumbs Up ….they were cute……I almost hit my own jig when I seen them! :D
Not quite but getting there, 65 was the high and 60 main lake.
I hate minners but from what I seen it was better than jigs, especially for numbersDoh

Congrats on the catch Bill ! I have been robbing the banks a little . They are close to the bank in some areas . Deepest I found them last night was in 6'-7' on jigs . Most were in 2'-4'. They weren't tight to the bank in all the areas I fished though . Some are staging in areas with a channel nearby , right on the drops .
