That area gets real busy this time of the year!
I fished for four hours this afternoon off the bank at W bridge (the eastern W bridge) and caught about 30. Only 5 keepers, and only 2 of the keepers were over 9 1/2" .. largest was 14". They hit just about any color I threw (black & chartreuse was the best) .. fished anywhere from 18" - 5' under a bobber .. almost all caught within 10 feet of bank.
It seemed like about 1/3 of Clay County was fishing up there .. I've never seen that many people on that bridge .. pretty crowded.
I don't normally clean 9-10" and didn't see the need to clean the only two larger than that. Obviously not having crappie for dinner (warmed up pizza, here I come!), but it was a good time .. beautiful day and great to feel the bit again!

May all your live wells be full.Dave
thanks for the real report! banks closed today! well unless you were in the right place.
A friend and I caught 24 keepers last night in 2-4 on main lake coves. All male White Crappie. We caught 2 limits the night before. No Slabs , just good solid keepers. The bite is on!
Good job Scott. I was catchin them a little deeper and not real fast but it will continue to get better.
caught 3 keeper females today, dam they are pretty.caught 1 keeper female last year.
sounds like a fun day. congrats.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
2626 sounds like a pretty good day to me, congrats and may you get many more and better too.
