    Thumbs up Kentucky Lake

The fish are biting great right now. Lots of guys are trolling live bait, and alot of them are vertical jigging, but both are producing nice catches (3/4-1lb). The bigger fish seem to still be holding deep (8-15) with very few coming from the shallower water (2-6). Good Fishing

We had 39 keepers last Sat. I would have to say your report is accurate. All of our fish were from 3/4 to 1 1/2. We were jigging mats in 8 to 13 ft. of water.

We have been catching good fish in 4 to 6 feet of water. And it's going to get A LOT better.

    Guys,

I'm coming down to Ky Lake with a few friends on 4/1, that s2 weeks from tomorrow. Do you think that we're going to be OK on timing for this year's spring crappie bite. Sounds like a lot is already happening down there. Please let me know whay you think.

Been slow where we fish. Last Sat only 15, Tuesday only 16, but yesterday partner wnet and had 30. Going again tomorrow, things should be getting better, as it finally looks like most of the shad are gone that were every where. I do not see any evidence that the spawn is getting real close, I would say still 2-4 weeks away

    Slabmaster,

Based on what you are saying, our timing might be just right. Any other comments on 1st week of April??
