Hey guys, my names not appropriate anymore! YAY! Hubby and I went to Smithville today and fished from the bank. Limited out in about 2 hours. Most in the 10-12" range. Several 14-15". Threw back just as many little ones. Males and females. We were catching them 10-15' from the bank with bobbers set at about 18". Hitting just about anything, but we were mostly using chartreuse or at least had chartreuse on it. I don't think it would have mattered. They were hitting hard! Great day on the lake! Still have a few morels left so I guess you know what we're having for dinner tonight!

Yeah Got Crappie, it was a huge amount of fun. My rod was already rigged from our last attempt, but my husband had to rerig his. First cast caught a nice fish. Had 2 more caught before he could even get started, nice ones too! It just kept on like that. Pretty much a fish per cast, more or less, could be stretching it a bit-but not tooooo much! Going back sunday with the kids for mothers day. LOVE IT!!!!
