Default High water here on West Sandy Ky Lake Tennessee...little video

Well, spent a few days preparing for higher waters. Added 5 more feet to my dock spud poles (just in case). What a job putting these things in. 3 old men wrestling 80-100 pound spuds lifting them in place in the wind. We did it!!!!!!!!! Took 2 days. Just waited for the water to rise so we didn't have to lift too high to set the spuds. Great neighbors I have. I am blessed to live in a community of older folks that care for one another. It is a blessing to know and to help your neighbor...We fixed several docks.

Good to see Ms Brenda up and moving around !! Good to hear that your neighbors are still able/willing to help each other out. Hope the dock, your trees & yard make it through all this. We're all hoping for the best for you & Brenda ... hang tough !!

I shoulda kep my mouth shut about fishin' in my front yard. ha

I got my boat in yesterday afternoon after we had secured the dock with the spud extensions. Lost of damage up here. Straight line winds wreaked havoc. What Ugly George.:p

Tom, I'm about 25 miles south of you and this was our only road out this morning(Parson's/I40 area). Stay safe.
