    The majority of the fishing I do is from the bank. Wanting to up grade to a good rod. Not really sure were to start but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Scott I'm sure you not talking about a long rod and if your only fishing crappie try to get a 6ft to 7ft ultralite. St.Croix, Gloomis these are expense but are good rods! I have each and like them both.If your talking long rod get a hold of me I have a couple different ones you can try.

    bank fishing, use a short rod, one that does not cost an arm and leg, reason, your gonna break it, tree,rock. slip and fall, lay it down and step on it, so get a good cheap rod form any store, you will be happy and feeling that light tick of the light bite will be of no concern. you can and will slowly work your way up to a lll in your opinion a great rod no matter the cost, luck to you
