    #2 Son wanted some fish for supper today so we got some out and fried them up. Here is a treat for the eyes.

    Looks great! I haven't eaten deep fried crappie in a long time. Every time I get home the family want's it blackened in butter in the skillet. I like it too though.

    That jig in the sig looks pretty cool too.

    I like Blackened fish too, but like a fish with a bit more texture like the Red Fish that made that dish popular. It is one of the best ways to eat fish though. We have to have a fish fry every once in a while.

    Yeah, good looking stuff.
    Here's one with my favorite sauce.
    Especially with left overs next day-cold.
    Just a splash is all the heat they need.

    Even these big ole Texas Skeeters can't resist 'em.
