Hello ....Yes I agree 100% that anyday is a good day to fish. But in the long run I still don't set my fishing times by what the borameter is doing. In saying that you will see in that low pressure compared to a high pressure there is a differance. Like just before a storm as much as 24 hrs. ahead of it the fish act differant. But like some one said once that nothing is cast in stone. So we take advantage of the time we have and enjoy the sport and take what ever mother nature throws at us. STEVE

I go regardless of the barometer because of limited time off.I've had better results during a low pressure than a high for sure!!

I've went thru my logs of successful trips for the past year and all of them were during a low pressure or falling pressure system. I feel pretty confident that fishing is better during low pressure, but I still just go fishing regardless of the pressure, due to limited time.

    Cool Probably does

After fishing tourneys for 3 years now having to deal with whatever kinds of weather
is thrown at ya I learned that you can still catch 'em no matter what.

My partners new nickname for me this year is "Kaptain Krunch".
On some we were behind with only a couple of hours left and I just said
" I'm puttin' my foot down and we are going to get the fish" So far it has worked.
We've somehow stayed in the top 10 so far.
I pull out tricks and keep tryin'. If you aren't catching then change something
    every 15 minutes.
    Thumbs Up

Maybe not according to fishery scientist Ralph Manns in an article he wrote for In-Fisherman. Here is the link to that article---http://www.in-fisherman.com/content/barometric-pressure-and-bass/3#axzz1KsFE9YrF. I agree with Slab-in-the-Box and some of my best catches were right before a severe storm. As I've gotten into the 4th quarter of my life, I don't cut it as close as I once did. After 4/27 in Alabama and Georgia, I won't even think about it.

I do,if I'm having trouble catching I make sure I'm in a good area when the best bite for the day starts.

x10! If you lived in central Illinois you would feel the same way. We have become the wind turbine farm capital of the Midwest. Today it was sunny and 72 but the wind was blowing at least 20 mph sustained. I hate the wind!
