Default Grand day with my kids Grandpa

Took my 77 year old dad fishing this morning before the wind hit and had a blast. Like many of you I have been on fish for the last three weeks on the grand arm. We about chickened out because of the predicted wind but got limits before it got rough. Dad got the two biggest fish which made the day even better. I just wish dad lived closer so we could go more often!

I am thinking of going to Osage Bluff in the morning and have an open seat if anyone is interested (816-258-3898). I'll be leaving Peculiar about 6:30 and head back in the late afternoon. Any advice on fishing out of there would be great. I may swing by Crappie camp on my way home. Ya'll have fun and be safe.

Congrats on the fishing! Would like to take you up on the seat but my daughter has a soccer game. I live in Peculiar too, feel free to send a message or call 816-589-9174 any time you have an empty seat.

Dad always said "there is work that ought to be done and fishin that's got to be done". I'll bet my neighbors wish I had been raised different when they look at my yard. Went to Osage Bluff as planned yesterday and had a rough morning. Only ten small keepers by noon but I found them in the afternoon and ended catching 30+ but did not keep any. Caught mostly black crappie in the afternoon still deep vertical jigging in 10-15 FOW.
