    Default leaving for lake weiss

I'm leaving for lake weiss in the morning. Ive been setting my boat up for spider trolling http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/images/smilies/eek.gif
and now it looks like the fish are coming into the bank. Will trolling still work? Does anyone have any help on where and how to fish for these crappie. I can't wait to fish this lake I've read so much about it. Thanks all you all are great.

There is a cold front moving in this week, so the fish will come out of the shallows this week.
I would try the deepest part of the bay that (on your map) runs up to hwy 68 and work back into the shallow water until you find them. My guess would be they will probably be mid ways up in the bays once the front moves in.

The shallow docks have been producing good fish for me, but this will also change due to the cold front.

Caught limit fri., Sat., and Sun. Trolling minnows in 1 to 3 feet of water on Sun. was the ticket. Fri. and sat. caught them in 5 to 7 feet on the channel drop adjacent to the shallow flats.
