    Thinking of buying a new Tracker pro guide 16v. Anyone had any expierence with this boat? It has a 60 on it. Is this enough?

    My brotther has one with a 50 2 stroke . It runs 25mph with both of us in it.

    Depends on what lake you're using it on.... They're good boats, know a bunch of gus that use em, just gotta watc it on big lakes in really high wind

    I agree with blueball. If you don't go ahead and get the biggest motor for the boat you can. You will regret it.... A little more money for alot more power.. Which a 60 Hp, art to push that boat pretty good. I have a Triton 1753 crappie with a 75 4stoke and it runs 45 mph with two people and gear. My 75 pretty good on gas until I start like pulling ski'ers or a tube. I also treat the gas with stabil marine ( ALWAYS) between fishing trips.
    A crappie day fishin beats working any day!!

    I've never head anyone say "Dog gone it, wish I had a smaller motor". Really, pay more the the biggest motor you can get.
