PM Tapout64 from the VA forum. He uses them. I think they are better for a still presentation (hovering over cover with a tight line or suspended under a cork) than a moving one (titelining, longlining, or casting).

I use'em for everything and they work great for me! Purple and Black
They are very different from a tube in that the tails are solid injected in a flattened spread. Once the bait comes to rest the tails fan out and is very inticing. You can also reverse rig this bait. We use the big 3" ones here on Eufaula with great results. Larry Russell tank tested these with crappie before launching them in the product line. A very good Walleye bait as well.
