With both lakes being at ~17' above Summer Pool .... I doubt I'd even try. But, if I were to ... I think bank fishing (if accessible), canoe, 2man, or belly boat (tube) would be the only ways I'd consider. Even those ways could prove difficult, & possibly unproductive (for Crappie, anyway). Alot would depend on what stage the Crappie were in, and how fast these lakes got to these flooded conditions (& how long they've stayed there).

Saturday rough came up 6 foot in a matter of a few hours and then the big bad storm blew in so I don't know how deep it is now the armycorps is wrong on there lake levels it say's it only come up about a foot and a half 508.6' But that is way off folks It's not far from going through the bypass at the dam. Let me check it for today Louisville District Daily Lake Report
It says Inches Avail 3.02 I think that means they can handle 3 more inches of rain before it goes over the by pass spill way not good since there calling fore 6 more inches of rain in the next 2 days and the water has not crested yet.
Yep I was right they were off a bunch!! How would you fish such a mess?Doh
I feer once it stops raining it will not rain again until the fall..

I went to Nolin 10 days ago/ The conditions were terrible as the lake was already flooded half way up the ramps and rising, you could barely get your boat in the water. The water in the creeks was very muddy and unproductive. Water temps about 57. Was able to catch about 32 keepers - some over 11". Had most luck spider rigging with minnows. Although casting a small black jig to the bank produced too. The fish mostly seemed to be suspended at about 8-10' in 15-19' of water. Caught all white crappie, mostly males who were already colored up. Since then we have had even more rain and the COE is rxing that you not get on the lake. They are saying today it is the fourth highest pool ever and still rising.
