    Thanks Chris, I talked to Kaz and he gave me an idea of how it's done at the factory. So unless someone or something changes my mind it's hard to argue with that kind of experience and knowledge.

    I emailed Humminbird the same question and they had me send them some pics and they marked on the pics where it should go.

    mine is mounted on trolling motor along with regular transducer. Not sure how hummin bird works but lowrance has to be within a foot of each other for the system to work properly
