welcome to the board! nice report!!
Hey all! I am new to the forum and thought I would post my first thread and give my first fishing report. Went fishing on Thursday on the Glaize arm. Found a few slabs in 3-4 foot of water (had to trim motor up to get there) Lots of females full of eggs 1 foot off of the bank. Anything with a chart tail works good. Hopefully this rain doesn't mess up the fishing.
welcome to the board! nice report!!
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!
Welcme from LoZ! i have been doing good with red with chart tail slabbuster as well
will fish for food
Thanks for the welcome. I have been lurking in this forum for some time, have learned lots of stuff from you all. Have fished LOZ all my life and just bought a new boat this year so hoping to maybe venture up around Truman soon. I usually fish around the 7-12 mm on the Glaize arm. I have a few good spots that usually produce good crappie, however this week they have been slow so I ventured to warmer shallower water and it paid off with several "slabs." I've been out 5 times this spring and my fishing buddy and I have been lucky enough to limit out every time. I have also done well below Bagnell Dam in the past. My lure of choice is definately the slab buster, it performs better than any lure I have tried in the past. Thanks again for the welcome and hope to see you guys out there.
You're fishin in my neck of the woods up the Glaize and there is a toll due.....if it aint stormin i'll be there in the mornin to collectwe were there for about 5 minutes this mornin before the lightning, rain and 40mph winds sent up packin,we had 150 stakes to drive but mother nature said not today so we're gonna try it again tomorrow.

Welcome from s.e. Mo!!!
Bugman, I'll be in a little green Xpress, make sure to say hey if I'm sitting in your spot. As far as the cold ones, I'm sure I can contribute to the "toll." I won't be making it down there until next week, gonna give this weather a chance to clear out.
Hope to see you all in the morning, and at camp. Welcome, and glad you got on them today!
