Thread: roadrunner plastics

    Default roadrunner plastics

What are the best replacement bodies for roadrunner baits? I think I am using some that are too large and interfere with the spinner, and some that are too small.

What do you use for replacement bodies for your roadrunners?

I usually use a tube body that one of the local baitshops have. I have also used just the over the counter tubes.

I use Crappie Thunder bodies and 1 1/2 and 2 inch curley tails.

crappiepro.com has a good selection of solid body tubes, and drifterfishing has a good selection of hollow bodies. both will work for you and both are good sources to buy from.

I prefer sliders on them. What awesome action.
Good things come to those who bait.

Whatever works, I use Crappie Thunder and Bailey Magnets most of the time with the occasional Slider.
