It looks like the Grand is still hot.
Hit the water at Bucksaw at about 8:45 this morning after driving from Lee's Summit. Stopped at Everharts to pick up an new 10' rod, and broke it in all morning. 25 yards into my first cove, I found a tree that a popped 7 keepers off of in about 4-5 feet of water. I was using a slip bobber and a 1/16 slab buster in Electric Chicken. Needless to say, I has a good limit by 11am and pulled into the drive way by 1pm. Great morning of fishing, and now they are ready for the grease bath next weekend.
It looks like the Grand is still hot.

Sounds like you had a great day on the water.
Nice job Dave. Good report and congrats. Sounds like a real nice day.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
