a week ago i woudl tell your to fish the south end of the lake in the coves 1-6 foot of water, but this cool snap have moved alot of the fish back out to deeper water and they have got somewhat lockjawed. It looks like it is going to rain this weekend, but i would still fish the mouth of the coves. We have been using jigs, but i wouldnot rule out getting some minnows.

fish channel edges, mouth of coves, 15 to 20 foot of water may not be out of the question, north banks will warm up pretty good, give a look in the shallows in the back of coves , big two coves by chicken rock should still have some fish waiting to bite, you might have to search a bit but do not give up, somewhere they will hit, good luck and enjoy your stay. by the way chicken rock is east of H highway at twin bridges launch, (roark bluff).

Thanks guys that will give them somewhere to start. I KNOW THIS COLD WEATHER HAS GOT THEM ALL MIXED UP HERE ON CLINTON IF YOU KEEP SEARCHING YOU CAN FIND A FEW THAT WILL BITE.
