What is your favorite state water for Crappie

What is your favorite state lake or reservoir for crappie
for both size of fish as well as abundance

While I have not spent any time on Patoka, I have fished just about every other of the better known crappie waters in Indiana. I would have to say Monroe is my favorite. While the average size crappie is small, there are big guys and numbers of them in there if you know where to look.

Mine would have to be Patoka even though I don't fish it that much. I spend most of my time at Hardy but I only live about 3 minutes away. Hardy you can actually catch some good numbers and size if you know where to look.

I would say for numbers of large fish, Monroe is the place

I would have to say Patoka its got so much structure in it and theirs more crappie in their than any other fish which I only live about 15 miles away!

Salamonie as I am only 20min from the lake.. Alot of small crappies but you will catch some big ones around the Mount Hope ramp.... A very good post!!!!

I got ran out of my favorite place to fish last year . It is a big strip pit in Dugger . We had been fishing it for the last 5 years.
