    Default trailer light question

My friend has a trailer that has no right turn signal when the lights are on. When the lights are off, the turn signal works. Does anybody have a suggestion?

    Thanks for the help

I have to agree, sounds like a ground or bulb problem. Check for good grounds at the light assy trailer and truck sides of the connector plug. I've also see the bulb loose ground in the socket of the light assy.

Sounds like a ground problem to me.

I'm not convinced that there is a ground problem. I think one of the filaments in the bulb has broke. Replace the bulb and tell us if that fixes the problem.

I had the same problem with mine and it was a bad ground. I ran a new ground wire and the problem was solved.
