Kentucky Lake 4/16 - 4/17

Holy cow, did the wind blow on Saturday! If it hadn't been a tournament, we wouldn't have been brave (or foolish) enough to fish yesterday. The wind was ridiculous, gusting 30 - 35 mph easily, white-capping and rolling waves and don't even get me started on how hard it was to get the boat loaded in that crosswind! I couldn't catch a fish big enough to keep on Saturday, but Paul managed to catch 2 keepers. Tom (Cane Pole) and I fished off his dock yesterday evening and I managed to catch a couple good ones, then Paul and I went out for a couple hours this morning and caught this one - 2lbs 8 oz. Had a great time this weekend even with the winds and really enjoyed our visit with Tom and Brenda.
