What do you guys and gals think? Last night full moon, weather going to be in the 70's next week, and the water temp in the 50's. Will we be on the spawn at Smithville?

I was up there today, and I couldn't buy a bump....well, except for a big fat bass that took off with a minnow...that was fun!

went this morning for a few hours nothing, not even a bite. went up to buffallo bill lake this afternoon 3 bass. only good part of day was getting to meet got crappie today at smithville.

May 1 is when I start checking-I don't keep good records(journal)anymore...but the last 5 years seem like it was a month long spawn-real hit or miss everyday due to rains and weather flucuations....Jake has taught us it is all phototropic driven....but other factors contribute.They don't always spawn right on the bank.
