Default Good jig colors for very cloudy water?

We've had a LOT of rain for Idaho this spring, and most of the crappie water is reservoirs, which have all turned to the color and clarity of creamed coffee. If I tie on a white 2" jig, it disappears about six inches down. The water is also colder than usual, with surface temps in the mid-40s.

Any suggestions as far as what colors to use under these conditions?
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

We've had a lot of rain in Tenn this year also. My best friend just came home for 2 weeks and I took him out. He is a wildlife officer in your state and a good man. We pulled Southern Pro Hot grubs in the Blue/ Black/ Chartruse color in the stained conditions and tore them up. You might try this.

As others have said dark colors and i like to go to the bigger beavertail baits they really displace the water.

Chartreuse all the way, mix and match with it, but as long as it has some green; your golden.

We always fish with some green. Most of the waters we fish are murky/cloudy and my favorite color of choice is black/green.

Our water is always muddy. I like black and chart, but anything dark works. Dark colors show up better in muddy water.
