Great picture of a complete inconsiderate A***** there. Maybe some of his friends are on CdC and will recognize him and let him know the whole world has now seen him for what he is.
I was sitting in the cut casting in front of my boat Tuesday and this guy pulled up right in front of me and dropped his anchors (2) and started fishing right where I had been casting. I took this picture and he just looked at me and pretended we weren't there.
Good thing there were no fish there.
Good fishing.

“There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism—by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide.” Ayn Rand
That's too close to someone casting. I give them a wide enough berth to not hinder their area of fishability. Spider rigging, I know some get in a knot over it, but a boat close around me doesn't bother me too much. Actually, I usually fish alone and enjoy the BS'ing. One thing about the spider rigging, manners-wise (for me), don't cross in front of me too close. You want by, and your not fishing, go behind me. Otherwise, as long our lines ain't gettin tangled, let'er rip.
What does the law state? A guy getting too close to me isn't going to ruin my day, on the lakes I fish I have plenty of spots. Is the guy a bit rude, sure, but if he's within the law, what can you do except take pictures and be mad. A day on the water is a gift to me, so nobody is going to ruin that. Guys who drink and drive, and men who hit women, that's something that will make me mad.

Rude and clueless.
heh... gotta love inconsiderate people. Oh, by the way, it's a good thing no fish were biting there, because that is WAY to close unless it is tournament fishing!
I was bank fishing yesterday, and boats kept coming up on my dad and I. We just laughed and said "It must suck these guys see us out fishing them!" lol
It seemed like every time one of us caught a fish the boat edged in closer and closer....
I can't stand that. If your in a boat, how about fishing the miles of shoreline I can't reach by car or foot?
I'm not saying anybody here does that, but some people take inconsideration and ignorance to levels beyond my comprehension!

What a total Jerk he was Ernest. I have had to deal with that at time on this lake especially on really windy days when no mater where you find to hid from the wind a little there are going to be other that find that area as well. However that doesn't mean they need come so close you could cast into their boat and when one does I don't stop casting in the same spot. I always try to keep some bit of distance away from people that already in an area I want to fish and just hope they are not exactly where I want to fish.
These kind of guys should be thankful were not still back in the days of the Cowboys or someone would end up shooting them for lack of respect. This kind of person has no morals and lacks simple respect for others. Someone should talk to him with both hands.

Fishing is about enjoying life and relaxing. Usually these are people that don't put in the time that we do and want to go out 2 or 3 times a year and catch as many as we do and do want to do the research for where the fish are. I try to just move on, BUT if it's been a hard day and you finally get into the fish thats hard to do. I would never get that close to someone fishing. This guy would probably be the first one to raise a stink if someone got half that close to him if he was fishing and catching fish.

lol... good stuff. Makes you wonder sometimes.
I could almost understand if you were catching something there (which is still just as bad if not worse in my book), but the fact you weren't and he still edged in is classic. Maybe try running your fish finder over the spot he was at... maybe he submerged some brush or something there. Next time you go back, you could anchor down on those exact coordinates if you have a gps. You know... just to return the favor.
