Table Rock..down but not out !

She's down 903.32 PP 915.0 -12 feet.. Temp main lake (upper James) is 47 and stained. Let me get this out in the open now.. I'm in no way the class of fishermen ( is that the word..sp ?) you guys are..! I'm a weekender that sometimes gets lucky..! That being said ..We (my wife and son) started at Cape Fair and caught crappie on the tree's next to the bluffs, but no keepers. We worked our way on up the James stopping at all the trees along the bluffs :D to point 15. First and only keeper 12" slab...but wait! That's not it ...we found some whites on the flats and had a ball ! I'm talking BIG FAT females in 5 foot of water some as low as 3 and temp 53 and clear..
My son caught a female that weighed 4.01 on 6 pound test ..that was fun ! Caught 11 big females only kept 5 let others go and lots of bucks only kept 6 of those most of these were too small...Well, sorry no slabs but sometime you just have to take what you get ...!!
