can't find the stake beds

I have a Hummingbird 798 ci si. I'm having a hard time finding or identifing stake beds. I know where they are but I can never find them on my side imaging. Some are in creeks and I set my distance to 50' each side. Plenty distance to cover the entire creek. I pass where the stake beds are but don't see them in my screen. Bridge pilelings show up. Train trussels show up. Stumps and logs, but no stake beds. Any suggestions!!!

i dont know how you can see anything with that small of a screen? but try from the shallow looking deep! most of the time all i see is the shadows of the stakes .

Are you sure they are still in there? Flooding/debris might have washed them out.
